Assignment type or volume is not guaranteed as it is based on the types of inspections ordered and the needs of the client.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Photograph and report on the condition of property for each assigned.
• 90 % of the inspections are EXTERIOR ONLY and take an average of 10 minutes. Some can be taken from the vehicle while others may require you to exit and knock on the door to announce your presence.
• Reporting types vary based on the needs of the client.
• Leaving a notice or knocking on the front door may be required by some clients and on some inspection types.
• Reporting data and sending photographs electronically through proprietary software once completed.
• THERE ARE NO SET NUMBER OF WEEKLY INSPECTIONS. IT CHANGES WEEK TO WEEK.
• The fee is a flat rate for each inspection and will range depending on the inspection type.
• The fee includes mileage (there is no additional mileage reimbursement above the flat fee per inspection)
• Maintain a turnaround time score of 98% or more. Meet or exceed 98% as measured by PPI’s audit process, which may include but not limited to field and desk top reviews.
  

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Valid driver’s license
• Field inspection, insurance inspection, or property inspection experience (preferred but not required)
• Route, perform and complete report per inspection in your assigned territory.
• Time service deadline, 5-20 days.
• Obtain photos of the home, outbuildings and any hazards / deficiencies and when needed, sketch the footprint of the home and any outbuildings when required
• Relevant experience or online training (preferred)
• Pass a background check (Required by some clients)
• Computer and photography skills
• Keen attention to detail and analytical skills

• Fuel efficient vehicle (recommended/ not required)
• Smart Phone with location settings enabled (required)
• Tablet with Wi-Fi / data (recommended/ not required)
• Route routing software installed on mobile phone (recommended/ not required)
• 10-to-12-ft selfie stick/ monopole (recommended / not required)
• Non-Contact Voltage Detector (recommended/ not required)
• Tire tread gage (recommended only for vehicle inspection assignments)
• Digital Laser Measurement Tool (required)
• Valid EIN or SSN (required)

General Information:

• Fees paid per inspection via direct deposit each month as a 1099 Independent Contractor.
• Photo Field Service Inspectors are responsible for building their own inspection schedule based on the assignments issued, expenses and taxes.
  
• Having the recommended and required tools available will provide the most assignment opportunities.
